The 3D model of the Winterfell Godswood was created using Autodesk's 3ds Max 2016 software. It then underwent painting in Substance Painter and final touches were applied in Adobe Photoshop, resulting in a highly detailed asset with a staggering 81,200 polygons and ultra-high-resolution maps measuring 2K in size. The Godswoods, being enclosed wooded areas situated within the walls of a castle, serve as revered sanctuaries dedicated to the veneration of the Old Gods who reside within the forest. Each Godswood typically revolves around an awe-inspiring tree that has been carved into the shape of a weirwood, often boasting an intricately chiseled visage on its trunk. Among these mystical spots is one specifically situated within the imposing fortress of Winterfell, an epicenter of sacred reverence in the realm of Westeros.
