Goniometer thingiverse

Goniometer

thingiverse petedenmark 5153367 Free

This is a Laser Goniometer to measure the angle of a knife edge.

It can measure knifes up to 70mm wide.

It's made for one of those cheap laser pointers with a diameter of approximately 13mm, but is easily modified to accept other diameter lasers.

Holes in holder are 4mm, so you can tap the for a 5mm bolt or setscrew to hold the laser. Or just use hot glue.

Markings and letters are embossed into the surface, so no need to glue your own scale into it. I just painted over the letters and markings with a sharpie, and wiped it of with alcohol, to have the markings show up clearer. I'm sure you can do a neater job than I did :)

It's designed fully parametric in Fusion, so by request, I can make it any size you need by request. I do however find that this is a great size, that fits almost all knives.
