This is a redesign/remix of Gollub's shellplate for the 3D Printed casefeeder. This design requires no drilling of the shaft or pin for load transfer, and minimal hardware for assembly. It also spreads the radial load bearing out from just the shaft, to the central hub adapter, by way of a pre-machined hub readily available on Amazon, and dovetails that interlock with the outer shell plates themselves. The central hub that attaches to the motor shaft is sourced on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08PS8RK9T/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), and is attached to the hub adapter with 6x M3x8 socket head cap screws. I used a feeler gauge to space the shaft hub away from the casefeeder body by .010(~.2-.3mm). I then laid all 3 shellplates together, as there are interlocking nubs on the edges, and gently snapped the central adapter into the 3, making sure that the hub adapter is oriented properly. This can be done by placing the 9mm markings face down, and the recess for the hub face up. If everything fits properly, the 4 pieces should hold together on their own, and you can place them over the mounted hub, securing it all together with the 6 screws. I haven't got a lot of time on this operationally yet, but initial tests are working great. Please give it a try and send feedback, and hopefully we can expand the line out a few more calibers.
