Golf Grip Alignment Tool
thingiverse
I designed these alignment tools to help ensure I was getting my grips on the way I intended to. Simply put the tool on the shaft of your golf club, just past where your new grip is/will be, with the "sight" closest to the head of the club. Then, look down the "sights" and line one of the inside edges up with the bottom groove/line on your club. Make sure that they are parallel. Then, use a Sharpie to draw a line on the shaft using the stencil portion of the alignment tool. The marker can be removed using the grip solution or rubbing alcohol after the grip is installed (or to redo the line in case you need to change it).
