Goldfish Scene 1: Aka to Kuro

Meet Akira and Kaito, your virtual pet goldfish companions. They offer a serene Zen experience without the burden of aquarium maintenance. No fish flakes needed - just charge up their "food" by keeping them on repeat, watching as they drain your phone's battery dry. I wanted to showcase my goldfish assets, which include both Ryukin and Broadtail Moor varieties (downloadable). However, I ended up investing more time in developing the system for aquatic plant behavior and script that generates marbles on the ground. Modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation were all handled within Blender. Textures for the original assets were created using Substance Painter. Fins and plants are animated with a cloth simulation, while the water surface was achieved with dynamic paint. Any feedback is welcome - let me know what you think!
