My daughter's goldfish was hanging by a thread, its life force ebbing away. Determined to soften the blow, I warned her that our beloved pet might soon be meeting its maker (a dignified farewell via a gentle flush down the porcelain throne). However, she had other plans - she insisted on a traditional burial in our backyard, so I got creative and crafted a miniature casket out of wood. The next day, to my surprise, the fish made a miraculous recovery and is still swimming strong today.
