Alright let's get started. The design for this award originated from a combination of the GrabCAD community. Three golden gears were chosen, each one symbolizing something different. The base gear represented the challenge sponsors, while the G gear stood for the GrabCAD website and the C gear signified engineers like myself. There's more - six screws similar to these were included to represent money, yes, money! Those elements are collected by people who earn it. However, not just anyone collects them - another screw, this one bigger than the rest, symbolizes corporations and engineers sharing knowledge globally through GrabCAD. This is all underpinned by a motto that reads "every piece matters."
