The Golden Sheaf's resilience was put to the test once more during the 1906 Earthquake and Fire, which left a trail of destruction in its wake. In the aftermath, California called upon Golden Sheaf to provide sustenance for the countless homeless San Franciscans. As one of the largest bakeries in California at the time, the Golden Sheaf answered the call, demonstrating its unwavering commitment to the community.
