A simple device for verifying the golden ratio. It has approximately 1.5 mm of clearance since the hinges are manufactured as a single piece, yet it's enjoyable to play with and check proportions. Instructions: Position the part so that the circular details of the hinges face upwards. Utilize support material for overhangs directly above the build plate. I discovered that a 30% fill rate for the support yields flat segments on the supported surface. After printing, remove the support material and work a blade along the part line around the hinges until it can open and close freely.
