Golden Gear Award for GrabCAD Greatness

Introducing Grabby, a commemorative award expertly crafted after its time in the shop. Seize it or face dire consequences! This unique trophy features gears painted in gold, a flag made of a drill bit and nut, symbolizing your achievements. However, be aware that Grabby's creation process left quite a mess in the workshop, taking hours to clean up. Designed with 3D printed Sandstone, this award boasts elements like thin walls and unsupported wires, making post-processing challenging. The weight of gears could break the arm without proper support. The socket resting on a gear and wooden table anchors Grabby, providing support during the printing process. Initially, we considered hollowing out Grabby but discarded the idea due to exit holes for unwanted material. Instead, Grabby remains solid, with only the base of the award being hollowed. In the process, we scanned Grabby on a set of rusty gears that needed repair, and our CAD files disappeared temporarily - no worries! A humorous bumper sticker on Grabby read, "Great Cad or Bust!" Our virtual interns came up with this slogan quickly. The Award stands at approximately 5.45 inches tall and is available in various materials like Full Color Sandstone (est. cost $73) and Single Color Nylon (est. cost $93).
