This submission is for the Golden Gear 2012 challenge participation. The key concept of this design involves a compact (30 mm diameter, 5 mm thickness) trophy that can even be worn as a necklace when attached with a string. This feature makes it convenient to display the award to colleagues, friends or anyone else. Additionally, the trophy can also be hung on a wall or placed on a table for viewing. The words "Golden Gear 2012" are inscribed on both sides of the body, making it highly visible. Moreover, the black background enhances the visibility of the text. Due to its straightforward design, this trophy is easily printable with a 3D printer at an affordable cost.
