Gold weight in the form of a fan at The British Museum, London
myminifactory
This intricately crafted lost wax cast figurative gold-weight, fashioned from brass, takes the form of a fan with a flat coiled disc at its center. Alternating small flat coiled discs and rectangular line decorated elements surround this central feature. Along the handle's shaft, binding representations are cast at regular intervals.
