Another iPhone / RealityCapture test from my visit to the Mesoamerican gallery at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. A challenging subject indeed: very shiny gold and shot through a glass display case with numerous reflections. Extremely difficult to recreate the true gold material and smooth surfaces accurately! 35 photos, captured using an iPhone 6S, then exported directly into RealityCapture. Date: 10th-11th century, Geography: Peru, La Leche River, Culture: Lambayeque (Sicán), Medium: Gold, Dimensions: Height 10 1/4 x Diameter 7 7/8 in., Measurement 26 x 20 cm, Classification: Metal containers, Credit Line: Jan Mitchell and Sons Collection, Gift of Jan Mitchell, 1996, Accession Number: 1996.354.1, Learn more at https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/317795.
