I crafted a shadowbox for a friend, employing 1/4-inch wood for both detail and box, as well as a thin 1/8-inch sheet of acrylic used as a diffuser to soften the light. Five millimeter holes are strategically drilled in the backer to accommodate LED mounting for an eye-catching effect.
