Goggles Case
thingiverse
Goggles case that snaps shut after super-gluing in magnets. v1.0 is designed specifically for 8x3mm magnets, while v1.2 accommodates larger 12x5 mm magnets. Users can customize the size to suit their needs by adjusting the parameters at the top of the .scad files. Hinges are integrated into the design, eliminating the need for a separate hinge pin. One potential remix idea involves sinking the magnet holes approximately 1 mm into the case and splitting the gcode during printing. This allows users to insert the magnet before covering it with its first layer. Unfortunately, I've encountered limited information regarding PLA's compatibility with chlorine water. If you have any insights or recommendations on suitable filament materials for use in saltwater environments, please share them in the comments below.
