Thank you for looking at this project! These are a fast way to attached and detach your goggles to your helmet. You can also strap them around the back of your helmet if you don't want them on your face. These also help you keep your goggles from getting scratched by keeping them in the face opening during storage. What you will need:2x Helmet Button2x Helmet Goggle BracketScissorsThreadSewing machine or needleDouble sided outdoor rated foam tapeGogglesMX Helmet, or other open face helmetInstallation:Remove the straps from the goggles. Cut the goggle end off, but note how it was sewn and installed because you will need to replicate it.There are two styles used to attach the little bracket to the straps. One goes around the outside bar, and the other around the center bar. Both will work and I have provided images of how to route the strap for both. However the center bar style is easier to adjust and since you will need to sew the strap anyway, I recommend cutting it off and re-sewing around the center bar.Route the strap as shown in the pictures. Placing the buckle close to the goggle bracket (that you printed). That will leave you the greatest amount of adjustment after installation.Look at the picture showing the length of the installed strap. Cut the extra strapping off about 1cm longer than the finished strap in the picture.Fold about 5mm over itself twice and sew a line of stiches down the middle of the folded up portion. This is the portion that installs into the goggles. You can look at the original portion you cut off for reference.Insert the ends of the finished straps thru the opening in the goggles to install them. The goggles are finished. To install them on the helmet, clean both the helmet and the Helmet Button to remove and dirt and oils. Isopropyl alcohol works well, but regular dish soaps should work in most cases as well. Be sure not to leave an soap residue.Apply double sided foam tape to the back of the Helmet Button covering the entire surface, and then trim any excess off with scissors. Leave the outside backing on.Snap them into the goggle assembly.Place the goggles in the helmet face opening centering them, and push as far as they will go to the back. This should be slightly behind where they will sit on the face.Position a strap around the side and ponce the location has bee decided, hold the strap against the helmet, fold the strap back and remove the tape backing.Align the Helmet Button with the Goggle Bracket and fold the strap back to the helmet and pressing he adhesive into the helmet.Repeat on the other side, and the installation is complete. If you appreciate my work, leave my a small tip to support future designs!Print SettingsPrinter Brand:CrealityPrinter: Ender 3Rafts:NoSupports: YesInfill:25% or moreFilament:- PETG Notes: When printing the Goggle Brackets: make sure to use enough walls to make the ribs/bars the strap passes over solid. The rest of the body can be whatever infill you feel is good. The Helmet Button: three walls with 25% infill is sufficient. It is probably better not to use more, as it would be better the mount breaks off in a wreck. It is curved on the bottom so support will be needed. It would be best to file the mounting side until smooth for better adhesion to the helmet.I added a low profile option, and a round button option if you like them better. No safety testing has been done. Use at your risk.  Category: Sport & Outdoors
