I always shoot on location using these accessories off-camera, so I don't need a hotshoe foot adapter to mount on a light stand. This accessory replaces the hotshoe foot with an embedded 1/4-20 nut, allowing direct screwing into your softbox or umbrella mount, light stand, clamp, tripod, spigot and more.\r\n\r\nJust unscrew the four screws, carefully remove the tiny plug inside, pop in the printed part (see below for minor post-processing work) and attach with the same screws. Don't over-tighten the small screws or you might damage the threads.
