<h4>Print Settings</h4><p>Printed in PLA with a .6mm nozzle, .2 Layer height, 100% infill. 9 grams of material.</p><p>Should print fine with a .4 or a .8 nozzle, .2 layer height is important for tolerances.</p><h4>Design Notes</h4><p>Since PLA prints smooth, I found that I couldn't find a balance of easily attaching of the ring flash while keeping it from rotating freely on the adapter. I decided to keep it slightly undersized and used a ~.5" piece of electrical tape placed over the top edge of the adapter to help lock the flash in place and keep it from rotating during use.</p><p>The mount for the lens will notch into place like the original cap but the first time or two are a bit snug. Before attaching the flash I recommend installing it on the lens once or twice ensuring that the detent is being engaged. This is also a good time to install the electrical tape at the uppermost part or the ring while it is notched into place.</p>
