This cube features QR codes on its shadow, pointing to Wikipedia articles of Kurt Godel, M.C. Escher, and J.S. Bach. Only three out of six cube orientations cast a legible shadow due to the limitation of reading QR codes in mirror image. The process involves using reduced-url QR code generator, paint program for connecting sections, Inkscape to convert DXF, and OpenScad for extrusion, rotation, and intersection of images. OpenScad took nearly 30 minutes on a fast computer for rendering. QR codes are resilient due to their parity and redundancy schemes, allowing moderate modifications. The print needs a distant light source for a flat shadow. Alternatively, you may present it as a Borg Cube to Trekkie friends. For the best outcome, print in black and attempt scanning QR codes directly from faces rather than shadows.
