Goblin Lancer

From the dark gloomy mists emerged a weird and rare creature - a Dragon squig. And riding him was the warrior of legends - the Green Git. Faster than the high elf arrow and deadlier than the jaws of the drake. All around him instantly fell on their knees in awe and stupor. And as the prophecy fortold - the mighty beasts and valorous knights shall fall under the heel of his pointy sabaton... The concept of this model was created in collaboration with Dan Leonard. You can follow him here https://www.instagram.com/mr.leonard37/ The Goblin Lancer is a highly detailed model designed as a tribute to an old Bretonian Green Knight. The heavily armoured knight with banners and a glorious mount. This model is intended to be a proxy for a Loon boss on a giant squig model by GW. He is almost the same size ( the squig is a little bigger) and fits perfectly on a 40mm round base. The plain base is included. The model consists of 5 parts - the squig, the squig cloth, the rider, the head feathers and the shield. I made the feathers and shield separate for easier printing and painting. The main part - the squig can be printed in one go - with banners and armor. All the supports go underneath the model - so the upper part is clean and detailed. The banners interlace with each other so the whole part is pretty strong. The assembly is shown on the attached picture but its really pretty straightforward. The pre-supported option is included. An archive with Chitubox 1.9.0 pre-supported projects. These are the files I use to print my model. The supports are sometimes extencive, but this is how i personally do it and i can guarantee that it will print 100% because I tested it multiple times. You can change them or even make the supports yourself too but be careful. The model is detail-heavy. Dont rely on auto-supports. Hollowing is a must. It will not be easy to support some of the parts so just take some time to do it and be attentive to details. Please be very careful when removing the supports! The model has a lot of details and a lot of thin and spiky/pointy parts. Dont just rip the support plate off, take your time and work on the light parts with a thin hobby knife or a scalpel.
