This project originated from a design I started on Onshape, where I aimed to create a unique 'vase' type object that could be printed without any overhangs or complications with vase mode. The object had to fill the volume of my Tronxy X3 printer perfectly. The full-sized version of this design is quite large, measuring 180mm x 202mm in height. I printed some test models at 33% scale and with layer heights of 0.08mm and 0.05mm to gauge their feasibility. I specifically designed Grail_fine for single-wall vase mode printing, which allows it to be printed quickly. On the other hand, Grail_cupped is a solid object with a smooth interior surface. Printer Settings: * Printer: Tronxy X3 * Rafts: No * Supports: No * Resolution: 0.05mm-0.24mm * Infill: 0% Printing Notes: Make sure to scale the design to fit your printer's volume, as it was printed in vase mode with 3-5 base layers and no top layer or infill. Smaller white goblets were printed using PETG at 33% scale and with layer heights of 0.05mm or 0.08mm. The 0.05mm layer height took around 3 hours and 4 minutes to print. The clearer ABScent goblet was printed at 33% scale and with a layer height of 0.15mm, taking approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. I still want to try an acetone vapor bath on this one. The full-size green PETG goblet took around 4 hours and 36 minutes to print using a layer height of 0.2mm. Post-printing, I considered inverting the design and filling in the top while leaving the bottom open, which could create an interesting sound when used as a drum.
