GO PRO MOUNT TO HOVERSHIP MHQ2
thingiverse
Here's my attempt at rewriting your text in a rewritten form: I crafted a customized mount to secure the GoPro case/frame perfectly. Worried about my expensive camera getting damaged, I knew I needed protection. Rubber bands and Velcro aren't exactly reliable options for holding things together. That's why I designed this mount to work seamlessly with any standard GoPro case or frame. For added stability, I'll use zip ties through the slots at the front of the body. I took precision steps in embossing the hexes and angles on the MHQ2 body. It fits snugly, so as long as it's held upright, the camera stays put. Unfortunately, I'll need to swap out the stock GoPro screw for a standard head screw before I can finish the installation (off to the hardware store for me!). For any props that hit the black GoPro nut, don't worry – they won't cause any issues. Before I could finalize the mount's design, I had to perform a thorough debur and wobble it on and off a few times until it moved easily. If you want more room in your creations, I've included the .STEP file for you to customize as needed. Instructions I opted for 20% fill PLA. Thanks to its stability, I was able to skip support structures altogether (minor bridging issues aside).
