The centerpiece, with its hole cutouts, must be printed using Ninjaflex or another flexible filament for optimal results. The outer portion was designed specifically for ABS, but PLA would also work well in its place. The GoPro model is accurate in terms of its external design, although the buttons are slightly misaligned - a flaw that has been corrected on the actual parts intended for printing. Once printed, simply apply CA glue to bond the flexible Ninjaflex part to the ABS or PLA portion. A good overlap between the two materials is essential. The entire assembly is then inserted and glued into a cutout in the foam aircraft belly, allowing for downward-facing photos or video capture, ideal for photogrammetry or video recording purposes. Hopefully, the use of Ninjaflex will minimize any jello effect that may occur. Print Settings: Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% ABS, 70% Ninjaflex Notes: Ninjaflex requires a high infill percentage; I start at 65% and increase from there.
