I've been wanting something ridiculously simple for the GoPro for ages, but it always seemed too straightforward and wouldn't work. However, I'm really impressed with it now. The connection point for the pole moves to the back of the camera, which means the X axis of your hand is much closer to the X axis of the lens on the GoPro. This results in a small movement in your hand not translating into a huge left-right wobble in the video; instead, it's just a slight rotation of the whole frame. Using the camera this way feels incredibly natural for me, especially when I'm shooting lower shots or extending the pole.
