Go Pro headrest mount

thingiverse

Here is my first GoPro Hero headrest design. The main goal behind this design was to create a mount that sits roughly eye level with the driver and in a position that captures enough of the interior action as well as a clear view through the windscreen. It's primary purpose is intended for use while recording videos at a race track. I will be starting to print this project tomorrow after work, so when I get some results, I'll update you guys right away. I'm really curious to see how it holds up once completed. The holes for bolts have been designed to accommodate m6 bolts and do not include threads, so nuts will need to be used at each end. Once the design was finished, I noticed that I hadn't included the fitting for the nut where the GoPro bolt screws in, but it shouldn't pose a problem holding it in place until the screw grabs the thread to tighten everything up. I hope you guys like my first upload; I will soon start uploading more of different varieties of products and concepts.
