Introducing the Two-player stand alone USB companion to the Go-Play 3.0My original Multi-Control gaming unit: [https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5733653]This allows for a Second controller to be connected to the Odroid N2 or N2+ running the Go-Play 3.0Good for head-head fighting games, and for smaller children who may find Go-Play a bit too large to be comfortable. (It was designed for use by mostly adults into Retro-Gaming) But this will allow them to join in the fun! Easy to print, Easy to Assemble if you know arcade controls, and uses the following parts...Brain: Arduino Pro Micro[https://www.amazon.com/s?k=pro+micro&crid=2UIU9WE9D0V9C&sprefix=pro+micro%2Caps%2C264&ref=nb_sb_noss_1]Interface: Hitlego Developmenmt Board/ Terminal Adapter(Strictly being used to provide screw terminals, follow pin position on Pro micro, ignore silk screening on Hitlego, as its for Nano, Not Pro Micro)[https://www.amazon.com/HiLetgo-Controller-Expansion-Extension-ATMEGA328P/dp/B073JGV87F/ref=sr_1_8?crid=386I30NLD966P&keywords=nano+dev+board&qid=1698603155&sprefix=nano+dev+boar%2Caps%2C160&sr=8-8]Adafruit Mini Analog Joystick:[https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Adafruit/3102?qs=Fe2pGbCwd5e23I9qtrkUqA%3D%3D]Adafruit 16mm Momentary Illuminated Push Buttons:[https://www.mouser.com/c/?q=16mm%20momentary%20illuminated]Front White LEDs (Driven behind a 220ohm Resistor)All other LEDs (Driven behind a 220ohm Resistor)Programming and Wiring is taken entirely from the following site:[https://www.737diysim.com/arduinomicro]All credit for control goes to the folks over there. This is the EASIEST sketch to use for turning the Pro Micro into an HID over USB (KB/Mouse/Joystick)It shows you all wiring and pin locations, and is crazy easy to follow.I had this working in under 10 minutes. You'll need an OTG micro to USB adapter for the Odroid N2 and N2+ to use two controllers. As you need it to be on a seperate USB bus to properly be recognized by most emulation software. Batocera is typically my Recommendation for the N2 and N2+ as it is very well developed with a Discord in case of support issues or questions. At this time, the version 36,37,38 have a uboot issue on the Odroid N2+If you get a Uboot Boat and cannot get it to boot, take the card out of the N2, and run FSCK from any other linux PC and it will fix it back up. Seems to happen when you change a large portion of data. They are aware of it over at Batocera and I believe they have it fixed in ver39. Which isn't out just yet. But soon. ORYou can simply use this Standalone with any PC or device that takes an HID USB controller. GAME ON! (Please enjoy!)
