When asked about the obsolescence of Spinscan due to ReconstructMe, I tried comparing both by scanning with http://reconstructme.net and http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:9972. Upon comparison with http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:11506, it was evident that Spinscan provides higher resolution. However, ReconstructMe is exceptional for swiftly scanning large objects like people despite lower resolution. For small items at high resolutions, Spinscan remains the winner.
