Gn'o'Thing Prop

I'm a designer, and I created this toy gun prop entirely on my own, without any reference or design inspiration from movies or other sources. This project was all about learning the design process - from sketching out ideas with paper and pencil to creating digital models and bringing them to life through 3D printing. Because of the limitations of my CoLiDo 3D DIY printer's print bed size, I had to break down the frame into four separate parts. This allowed me to create a fully functional design within the constraints of my printer's capabilities. To comply with legal regulations in certain countries, I've added a note suggesting that you use an orange-colored print nozzle or paint it to meet local laws. It's also worth noting that this is a non-functioning replica, specifically designed as a prop - so don't worry about violating any terms of service! Here are the tools and software I used to bring this design to life: * Inkscape: This powerful vector graphics editor helped me create an SVG file from my original drawing. * Autodesk Fusion 360: With its robust 3D modeling capabilities, I was able to take my design from concept to reality in this incredible software. * Cura: This slicing software allowed me to prepare my 3D model for printing, and the CoLiDo 3D DIY printer did the rest - bringing my creation to life with precision and accuracy.
