My new 2019 GMC Canyon comes with a completely useless induction charger - it's too tiny to accommodate any modern phone and my phone no longer uses induction charging so I chose to design a storage tray that could rest on top of that empty space. This is the result! 3/3/19: Just a follow-up note. My PLA version melted! Yeah, no idea how it managed to get hot enough, but it did. I definitely recommend printing in ABS or something more heat-resistant. Or maybe just avoid using black filament? 1/16/20: Printed an ABS version back in July/August, and it's been working perfectly fine. Do the same!
