The gMax 1.5+ printers require a manual leveling system for the bed, and these custom parts provide this essential feature at the cost of about an inch of Z-height. Besides the 3D printed components, you'll need several mechanical parts: 12 M5x10 socket head screws 4 M5x40mm hex head screws 4 M5 flat washers 16 M5 nuts 4 M5 nylon insert lock nuts Compression springs with a diameter slightly larger than the M5 shaft. To complete this project, print these custom parts: Elevator shafts (four unique corner pieces) Elevator carriages (all identical parts) Corner lateral guards (four individual pieces) Knurled knobs (four identical components) This design leverages pre-punched holes in the gMax bed's steel frame.
