GM328 Acryllic Case Back With Tilting Stand

This low profile tilting stand is designed specifically for the GM328 electronic component tester, ensuring a perfect fit with the most commonly used acrylic case. Included in this package is a replacement part for the acrylic bottom plate and a copy of the original stand I created for the Velleman DVM850BL multimeter. The size and shape of that stand seem to work perfectly well with all these affordable meter projects. The new bottom piece for the case fits seamlessly into the remaining portions of the acrylic case hardware, just like the original, but perhaps even easier. I added feet on the 4 corners with recesses that hold the nuts in place. Initially, I assembled my case with the PCB mounting screws, head side down due to the mismatch of exposed screw lengths with the other case hardware, but this is no longer an issue since I created this. If you own this tester without a case, search Thingiverse for alternative case designs. There are several nice entirely printed cases available. This part is specifically designed for the acrylic case shown in the supplied images. Ignore the banana jacks on the left side of my case; those holes were drilled and not part of the purchased case. For most component testing I do with, it's easier to skip the ZIF socket and use clips or other test leads. For that reason, I found it easier to leave the device standing upright, but adding this tilt improves visibility even further. I suspect that most people with 3D printers will be best served printing complete alternative cases, but since I've already been using mine in the case I paid for, this is better for me.
