My main goal was to build a charger that could charge five of the Solo's batteries at once from a full backpack. I also aimed to create a charger with faster charging times than the stock chargers. Additionally, I wanted the charger to be easy to break down and adaptable to multiple power sources - like car batteries, plug-in power sources, or whatever you can think of. The Yeeco DC to DC boost drivers in this charger provide the flexibility I needed, accepting input voltage from 10-32v. Another important design consideration was using the correct wire gauges throughout the charger. While some people might worry about the 12 gauge wire getting hot, keep in mind that at most, this charger will draw around 33amps collectively - which is well within the 41amp rating of 12 gauge wire. I hope you enjoy building this charger as much as I did designing it! The GM Multi-Solo Charger and its case .stl files are completely open source, so feel free to do whatever you like with them. Just remember not to change the name of the charger - instead, give your version a name like "GM Multi-Solo Charger by [Your Name]" or something similar.
