GM Key Fob Fix

The GM (Delphi) key fob is apparently weak around the ring attachment hole. I fixed up my coworker's fob with this bit. A helpful link with pictures is available at the GM Key Fob Remote Control Battery Replacement Guide. Print Settings Printer: FlashForge Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.10 mm Infill: 100% Notes: This thing is really small. Printing a few at once (or alongside other things) allows the plastic time to cool between layers. Post-Printing Separate the two halves of the key fob. Cut or grind off the top of the front half to leave a flat surface the same size as the mating surface of this thing. See photos. Sand both surfaces lightly and super glue together. A 2 mm thick metal plate supports the thing and aligns it with the fob. You could also put one of these on the back side for more robustness. This would eliminate the opening notch, which isn't terribly important anyway.
