I'm going to start out by saying that this thing is completely unnecessary, but my dad asked if I could order something like it for his 2020 Silverado off the internet. Being handy and having a 3D printer that I like to justify having once in a while, I decided I would just design and print him one. It actually turned out pretty well and seems to fit most GM vehicles with the cap-less fuel system perfectly. This is more of a dust cap and a rain cap to make sure no moisture gets in there, not an actual fuel cap. If your system is working like it's designed, you will never have any fuel vapor contacting this cap at all. I printed this out of PETG, which turned out great, but I would definitely not recommend printing this out of PLA as it could warp enough to seize onto the filler neck.
