I replaced the bearing on my engine, wanting to retain it for future use. Ten millimeter strong magnets were hot glued in the back to allow easy removal of the bearings. A mechanic can store a fresh pair right next to the worn-out ones he's encountered so far. The 57mm diameter fits well enough with decent strength from the magnets.
