If you ever find yourself needing to open your tilt-telescopic steering column, such as installing a new turn signal switch, you'll likely discover it breaks into half a dozen pieces. You can still purchase these parts on eBay and Amazon, but if you're like me, you know they won't be manufactured forever. I'm restoring a '78 Corvette and frequently need to 3D print or machine "out of production" parts, so I've decided to share all my files as I create them. Hopefully, they'll help someone in a similar situation. I recommend printing .1mm resolution with solid settings since the piece is only 2mm thick. You will require support material, and it's best to print it upside down for easier removal of the support material, but at least you'll have a replacement readily available at your fingertips from now on.
