Glutathione Transferase P1-1

This model represents human Glutathione Transferase P1-1 (GSTP1-1), a detoxifying enzyme that binds reduced glutathione to xenobiotic substrates. As a PhD student, it was one of my first structures solved. The structure comprises two monomers, colored green and red in images, which bind one glutathione molecule (in yellow). STL files were created using VMD. Print 5GSS-A_fixed.stl (green), 5GSS-B_fixed.stl (red) and two copies of 5GSS-GSH.stl (yellow).
