Today, makers and builders worldwide use glue guns in their daily lives and in production. Professionals and home masters alike rely heavily on these tools to bond various surfaces (textiles, paper, plastic, wood, etc.). The glue gun is an indispensable tool for many types of creativity and needlework (quilling, scrapbooking, floristry, decoration, etc.). I often use a glue gun in my work. And I've long desired a glue pen that would produce a precise drop of glue with easy dosing, much like a 3d pen. I designed a model of a glue pen featuring an electric extruder. I removed the heater from a standard glue gun and created the body and all mechanical parts using Fusion 360.
