Glue Stick Holder For All Sizes
thingiverse
I finally got fed up searching for my trusty glue stick when it was time to print, and since I always have multiple sizes on hand at once - each found in a different spot, depending on which one I could locate - I decided to create a universal glue stick holder that would fit all the various sizes I own. Initially, I designed it to attach securely to my printer's frame using 3 mm Allen heads and t-nuts. Next, I came across an ingenious design by Mark Rehorst, aka the_digital_dentist (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:135423), which utilized a snap fit to the rail clip, so I merged those two concepts together. Now, finding my glue sticks is a breeze. To assemble the system, print the screw-mounted version with the open end facing upwards, while printing the snap-in version with the open end down and build-plate support if necessary.
