Glue Press (C-Clamp)
grabcad
This self-made wooden GLUE PRESS model, used by my father in the 1950s for constructing wooden airplane models, employs an eccentrically pivoted lever rather than screws to provide a smooth clamping force on balsa wood components. Foam rubber pads protect sensitive surfaces. The design was created by Erich Gudrian, a pattern maker at "Farbwerke HOECHST" and RC-model enthusiast, who was a friend of my father. I meticulously recreated this simple tool's design in a STEP-file (.stp), along with native files (.prt) and (.asm) in a .zip folder for users of "PTC Creo Parametric 2.0".
With this file you will be able to print Glue Press (C-Clamp) with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Glue Press (C-Clamp).
