Glue-on control horns for RC models

thingiverse

This is an incredibly easy control horn for all your RC needs. Compact, lightweight, featuring no moving parts, and nothing to break yet remarkably strong for its weight. The design is as aerodynamic as it gets and your model will experience virtually no drag with this type of horn. There's no drilling or cutting involved in mounting this control horn. Simply print, sand the bottom, and glue it with your preferred adhesive. You can use hot glue, double-sided sticky tape, CA, or anything that can bond to plastic effectively. Depending on your printer, build this part at 0.2 resolution if possible. You might need to broaden the hole slightly. The best way we've found is to simply take your control linkage wire, heat it up a bit with a lighter, and push it through the hole. This will give you the perfect size. The bottom, top, and wall layers should be at least three, with 20% or more infill. Since this part experiences stress, bump up the temperature a bit. No supports are needed.
