Glue, Accelerator and Light Machine Oil Caddy

Glue, Accelerator and Light Machine Oil Caddy

myminifactory

I designed a compartmentalized box with no springs, motors or gears to securely hold glues, accelerators and light machine oils for assembling machined and 3D printing projects. This caddy protects the glues, accelerators and light machine oils from being knocked over by my experimental desktop designs like the "Windup Helicopter" and spilling across the desk. It keeps them securely in place during a collision, especially the glues, minimizing trips to the acetone tank. I use this box to trammel the build plate before printing. I added hold down disks to the corners of the caddy to prevent warping during the 3D printing process. This project was designed using Sketchup Make 2015 and printed in PLA on a Makerbot Replicator 2 with Makerware 2.3.3.42 "Standard" Settings (.2mm layer height, 2 shells, 10% infill).
