Glucose meter adapter
thingiverse
Update (15.7.2016): This design currently fits test strips and O-rings that hold MultiClix perfectly. Adding a small amount of UHU or SuperBond glue is suggested to prevent it from coming loose. Silica balls should be added inside the container to protect against moisture or water damage for the test strips. The all-in-one glucose meter design, like Mendor Discreet and Accu-Check Mobile, is admired greatly. However, in Croatia, there is no support for test strips, so an AIO glucose meter had to be created manually. This device will also fit Contour Next meters since the only difference between Link and normal versions is the connection to insulin pumps. Future plans include adding a test strip container or automating the whole system at a later time. The printer settings used are as follows: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Optimus Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 30% This device is printed with ABS plastic, and printing in a vertical position is recommended to achieve stronger bonds for O-rings and MultiClix.
