A glowing T-Rex skull on your desk? Now that's cool! The MakerBot Academy offers a remixed version of this prehistoric creature with a twist - a bubble in the skull for an LED diode. While printing, simply insert the diode into the bubble and seal it inside forever, with only the contacts extending out. Stay tuned for better photos and a version featuring a battery holder and on/off switch. Don't hesitate to ask questions or share suggestions in the comments section. For printing, opt for natural PLA, which will give you excellent details even at 0.25mm layer height. A 10% infill is sufficient. Download T-RexSkull_LED.stl and start your print. At around 13% completion, insert the LED diode into the skull's bubble. Ensure the diode contacts are exposed outside the skull. Pausing the printer for this step is optional but recommended for safety. Proceed with printing the rest of the files as usual.
