Glowing pennywise
thingiverse
I'm still working on my first design, so please bear with me if it's not quite right. I was aiming for a slightly raised picture of Pennywise that glows in the dark. To create this effect, I started by vectoring an image of Pennywise in Inkscape. From there, I added a 3mm thickness to the design using Fusion360 and also included a 3mm base. Finally, I sliced the model in Cura to prepare it for printing. To achieve the glow-in-the-dark feature, I loaded the glowing PLA filament first, then paused the print at layer 11 and switched to blue filament. To my surprise, this approach worked better than I had anticipated. However, I'm always eager to learn new techniques and appreciate any feedback you may have. The finished picture measures 115mm in length by 74mm in height. I hope you enjoy it!
