I'm absolutely thrilled about creating something that shines! This project is still in progress and may take a bit longer to complete, but I wanted to share this part with you because, at least one flower is finished. Feel free to light these up any way you like or not at all - the stems are hollow making it easy to run some wire through them. This adventure in Blender hasn't allowed me to create a fancy assembly method yet since I'm still learning the ins and outs of this software (and that learning curve is incredibly steep). Simply use super glue to put everything together. The "vase" these flowers are sitting in is actually from my voronoi bottle holder project. Future updates will include a better vase with room at the bottom to hide the board and batteries, and I'm planning on sticking with the voronoi technique because it's absolutely amazing. Prints without support are possible. To light up the flower part, print it in clear plastic if you intend to do so. The stem is particularly prone to collapse during printing due to its structure turning into a massive chimney. To reduce the chances of failure, try printing with something else so it has time to cool between layers - for example, printing two stems at once seems to work. This isn't actually a buttercup (I called it that in the filename), but it reminded me of one. Buttercups have five petals while I only made four. Maybe there's another flower that matches it more closely, but I just couldn't think of it at the time.
