Basic front panel with some bright LEDs shining brightly from behind. This idea came first before the Buffy design, both of which look amazing in real life. Used various techniques to achieve the welded metal appearance. I combined brown "forged hammered" metal and finished it lightly with very shiny "brilliant" gold while the paint was still wet. Then made three cut passes, with the first two passes about 20cm away from the material to get that really burnt look of welding. Next, constructed a small box behind the front panel and hooked up super bright LEDs. Ideally, I would have used three yellow, one white, and one red LED, but I was in a hurry and they're all yellow instead.
