Glowforge Split Gantry Wheel

My brother recently encountered a problem with his Glowforge laser when one of the gantry wheels suddenly split apart. It appears that this issue is more common than initially thought, prompting someone on the GF Forums to create an STL file for reprinting a replacement wheel. I successfully reprinted the part using the STL file, but unfortunately, it didn't take into account the bearing in the middle. The original design features the bearing glued together with the rest of the part. To resolve this issue, I used Meshmixer to split the STL file and then employed Tinkercard to hollow out the inner piece, making room for the bearing. Although I haven't had a chance to test the modified wheel yet, it's scheduled to happen soon, and I'll be sure to update this entry accordingly. I'm sharing this information with others in case they encounter similar problems.
