Glowforge 6" Vent Adapter

<p>This is a Glowforge exhaust vent adapter for a 6" hose. I used it when attaching my AC Infinity S6 inline fan to my Glowforge. The printed piece should press fit nicely onto the Glowforge exhaust outlet, and there is also a recessed area that allows you to firmly tighten it on with a hose clamp. I provided the STEP files in case you need to modify the models.</p><p>I have also uploaded a 90deg adapter and a flange. I used the flange to attach the exhaust hose to some ½" insulation foam in my window, but have not tested the 90deg adapter yet.</p><p>I printed the straight adapter and the flange at 0.25 mm layer height without any supports. Since the stress on these parts will be primarily be radial, I recommend using as many perimeters as possible. This will give you a very strong print that can withstand the forces from the hose clamps.</p>
