I needed a more robust 4" dust collection hose for my Glowforge since I'm constantly repositioning the vent hose and the dryer vent hoses aren't very durable. My standard dust collection hose is the clear 4" hose from Rockler, but I found it challenging to get a good clamping surface on this hose to the Glowforge, so I designed an adapter. It's engineered to have the hose screwed onto it, then the adapter presses onto the port on the glowforge via friction fit. I printed this with PLA on a UM3 and the fit is snug but perfect for my Glowforge; you may need to adjust your horizontal expansion slightly to get the ideal fit from your printer. (Note - I've added a left-hand thread version of the part)
